Thank you Dan for reminding me and everyone of this life lesson.
K Yairi guitars are excellent, enjoy yours.
I certainly will Mal! Maybe for my next birthday my sister will spring for a plane ticket to Queensland and I’ll come to one of your muso campouts!
Me too, me too … I have a birthday coming up very soon!!
haha
@mfeeney0110 Holy cow Michael … some sister … some gift … you are blessed indeed. I hope you have a lifetime of musical pleasure ahead.
That is one beautiful guitar and an excellent piece of craftsmanship!
Boy oh boy are you a lucky fella, enjoy it and play it daily, that’s no display queen, it’s a player!
Well Richard, you are the third person who now wants to be on my sister’s birthday gift list. I guess she should not retire soon if she is going to be the Guitar Fairy
for everyone on this forum!
Gorgeous instrument! Sheila should take up the guitar and join you in playing. You’re never too old to learn. I’ve been at it with JG for about a year now. I’ll be 72 in August, and I love playing it, along with my other various instruments I dabble with for my own amusement, enjoyment, and to help keep the brain young.
It is quite pleasing to both the eyes and the ears. Notice there are not fret markers on the fret board, a quick cure for looking down to see if you are in the right place. Also no pick guard (an adhesive backed one is provided). I like the pure look, but may put the pick guard on to keep it pretty.
Hi Michael,
Happy NGD
When new guitars start with a story it can only go from good to the best
I wish you a lot of time together,
Greetings
Yes Andrea, my heart is full and my fingers love touching this beautiful instrument. Subtlety has never been one of my strengths.
Happy to read you are enjoying this gift, the best what you can do! Great sister!
