Glad to help Judi. FWIW my acoustic is finished with true nitro, but that’s because I made it myself. I also keep it on a Hercules stand and haven’t seen any damage to the finish.

It’s a Rickenbacker 360, made in 2022 I think. I understand they call the finish “conversion varnish”. I guess the specific formulation is proprietary.
Conversion varnish is a 2-part finish. It will be much more durable than nitrocellulose lacquer.
I’d treat it the same as nitro then. Both varnish and lacquer share most of same propertier and will react similarly to the same chemicals like bug spray.
Your safe to use the Hercules stand
