I’m sorry to hear about Mya ![]()
Oakley is a cutie though!
I’m sure she and Ori really would brighten up the day

Thanks!
In You and Me, its just some reverb. Less effects.
Same with Thank You except theres more delay less reverb.
Thanks! She really is! ![]()
Good deal and you are welcome.
You could also add a touch of saturation to your vox and that can add some slight grit to it. The ears are your best guide.
Be well,
LBro
Thanks for the tip! I get ear blind easy, so it can be hard lol.
Rest the ears when they are tired. If late in the day, come back the next day and give it a go then. Or if you have the time and are looking to get a lot done, break a session up into 2 and leave time between to rest the ears.
Your memory is probably better than mine. But if you struggle with that as I do. I found a solution a long ways back. DAW work is complicated when you get deep into it. I mad a Wordpad file, put a shortcut to it on the desktop and started to put notes into it. Most of them are on how to do DAW things. Stuff like delay throws, keyboard shortcuts and operations. plus more. Yep, it takes a little time to write it down. But, I have used those notes a 1000 times and saved a ton of time. Sometimes it is 6 months or more before I have to repeat an item and my notes are a huge help in remembering. If by chance I did not put something in my notes, I add it the second time around.
All the best,
LBro
Thanks LBro!!! I appreciate the advice!! Ill keep that in mind!
Just uploaded Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis!
Nicely done Byron. Loved the rhthym and the FX on the vocal was interesting.
Thanks Willsie!
Think this is another one of my best! ![]()
Whatcha think of Stop Crying Your Heart Out @domi7
Oh, you’re calling me! I’ll take it as a honour that you’re asking for my opinion!
I didn’t see you have a new one out! Man, you’re fast! Me - I still didn’t figure out how to easily put audio and video nicely together, otherwise there would be more videos of me too. Well, just a few more.
I really like your new video!
With these more than one videos, I got confused which one was before, which is new…
I would suggest having an order from above to below? adding the more recent ones below? Or add some text when you added them or something like that? Just my thoughts!
But back… Good, playing, singing and nice additional tracks!
I am not too fond of those very strong reverbs or delays. I’d rather use shorter times or turn dry/wet down to some degree. But maybe it’s how you really want it.
DId you change the chords?
I didn’t know this song (or just heard it back then and forgot it) and when I listened to your version first, there were inetresting chords and melody, like not belonging to the scale, but sounding good, adding interest. When I listened to the Oasis song, ( I really like this one now and a few things reminded me the late Beatles) it sounded just like the usual chords, but maybe my ears betrayed me - I still have to work on my ear training! ![]()
Anyway - I like it a lot, thanks for sharing it!
Thanks dom!!! I believe it’s different chords I’m using on the oasis song I kinda made it my own!!
I’m still not very good at mixing lol. How did you like the strings in it?
Thanks for the feedback!! You inspire me!
@domi7
Maybe you could help me mix it?
Lol Maybe add some Bass or electric to it?
You have videos of you playing? Please share!
I always put the latest songs I post at the top.
I use Vegas Pro Studio to put the audio/video together! Its pretty straight forward and easy to use! Its like putting a puzzle together and its quite fun to do!
I used to love that Dido song and haven’t heard it in years. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane
Also, really enjoyed the full cover of that Oasis song. I’m not too familiar with the band other than Wonderwall and Don’t look back in Anger, so it was good to hear another song.
You say you’re not good at mixing, but I think that most things are ok … maybe it would be pretty good even with less reverb already!?
Yes, I like the strings!
Is there anything missing? Sounds fine instrument wise to me, but if you upload the tracks without reverb, I could try to mix it differently, and maybe some inspiration comes to add something, who knows…
Thanks Dom! Curious to see what you come up with!
Lol it’s ok!!
@domi7 Thanks Dominique for mixing it! I believe I like it better! Everything pops better! Thanks man you awesome!!! ![]()
You’re welcome, mate! (or how do you say in the US?)
I’m glad you like it! ![]()
