Hi onboarders. I answered a question earlier in the forums about setting up practice items and had this screen shot ready it is a mobile view so it might be different from desk top, it works the same. I did however think it may help other new people give an idea ofnwhats possable in the practice assistant. This is also a more advanced lesson that what is in unit 1 or 2. Same idea.
When setting up a practice item. Use the tools that Justin provides use. They are so useful.
I use the notes section to add my small term goals and the techniques he shows us to get there.
I also add things to the Things to remember that I can change more easily on the fly as I progress daily. Motivational stuff.
I find a piece of paper clearer than an app, but that’s a matter of taste. I find the sheets in Class of 2025_Goals&Destinations.pdf very practical as a practice calendar for each module. You can print out the corresponding tabs and chord scores and file them together in a folder.
With the sheet for module 8, I got by with 3 weeks exactly. I may have to print out the exercise plan for Module 9 twice, but after six weeks it should be fine. Cheers Withold
G’day everyone,
I’m Craig, keeping tabs from Melbourne, Australia, and I’m excited to be part of Class of 2025! I’ve recently started my guitar journey and I’m loving every bit of it.
I’m almost through Grade 1, taking it slow and steady so the learning really sticks. I enjoy soaking up new skills and hearing the progress in every practice session. I especially enjoy the satisfaction of nailing a tune after several days of grind.
I’m excited to follow along with your musical journeys and soak up all the wisdom this community has to offer.
All the best.
Craig
