Looking great, Mari.

Just finished a dry run myself. Now to upload that test video to check YT levels (the nerd that I am). Then all is good in OBS and can test streaming it to Zoom.

Uploaded in the time it took to reply and sitting at -1.7dB ā€¦

Youā€™ll soon get the hang of it, Trond. And remember, itā€™s a matter of personal preference how far one wants to take the recording/streaming tech. Ainā€™t nothing wrong with just joining Zoom and positioning your phone (some may even suggest this is the way to go). Just make sure to be using the Original Sound setting and turn it on. That is confusing since when the button says Original Sound On that means you need to click it to turn it on, not a reflection of the current status.

Only down side of joining with a phone is the ability to watch the performance and access chat at the same time. I think on the phone it is one or the other.

My setting is relatively simple ā€¦ Audio into my 2i2, Webcam and Audio into OBS, OBS to Zoom. Thatā€™s all explained in various technical posts but something to play with in the future if you desire to go down that road.

No worries, Trond ā€¦ if and when the time comes, then youā€™ll figure it out with a little help from your friends ā€¦ friends ā€¦ ā€˜helpfulā€™ Community members who ā€˜helpā€™ people to acquire amps, electric guitars, and all other manner of things they never knew they needed.

In my case, 2 months after starting the Beginner Course I remember telling the colleague who introduced me to JustinGuitar and had just showed me his mic and audio interface that Iā€™d never need that ā€¦ famous last words. The echo of the words was barely still before Iā€™d bought the interface, with a mic :rofl:
