Pain in my back. Posture help needed

The strap is cutting into your neck partly because you have the guitar pushed too far to your right hand side, holding it against your right hip. Bring the guitar more in front of you, pushing the neck a little further to your left.

Yeah - my tips

Use a strap!
Sit up straight like mummy told ya!

If you have lower back problems - a 5-10 morning mobily drill will help a LOT but you have to do it all the time, not just when it flares up.
10x Cat / Camel
10x Dead Bugs
Twisting stretches
Glute Stretches
Foam roller work
Hamstring stretches
V holds

There are tons of lower back mobility workouts around - find the exercises that help - and then try to stick with it.

I’ve been ok the last 6 months - but tweaked my back this morning doing split squats - so I’ll be on the mobility session again for a bit!

If the chair is too high, try the edge of the sofa, cut the chair legs shorter, put a couple of books or something under your feet. When you find the right height, go buy a chair.

Looking at all the pics and advice so far… get your neck up and not horizontal.

It’s not for show.
It makes playing way easier and is kind on the wrist.

But hey good to see you have found a good sitting posture. But I would also recommend standing and playing, that’s a sure way of identifying bad habits and deficiencies. And the core strength will likely help you back as well.

My 2 cents YMMV

Renan.

12 pictures is overkill.
One picture showing the front is enough.

Sit back in the chair, not on the edge.
Adjust the strap up a little so it has no slack.
Position the strap on your left shoulder, not around your neck.
Move the guitar to your left, your strumming hand will be cliser to the bridge, not the soundhole.
Angle the neck upwards.

All of this is advice you have been given.
