Okay so this is a beginner question. When using the App to play along with a song it will show the Chord then a bunch of big and little dots. What do the dots represent? A . . . . .
Hi Ernest, welcome to the community 
The big dots mark the ‘counts’ or quarter notes in a bar, the small dots the 8th notes.
If you are starting with simple stumming, just strum on the notes e.g. A.
If you then want to strum all quarter notes, stum on the larger dots.
This will come up in grade 1, module 2
If you want to include some up strums, these will work on the smaller dots.
