Hi all,
I’m trying to get comfortable using a metronome to practice the old faithful strumming pattern. I have the Justin Time Trainer app but I don’t think I have it set up right. I have it set at 4/4 time signature with 1 beat division. Is this the correct setting or is there something I need to change. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t use this app but that should be fine. All you really need is a steady pattern of beeps or sounds and every downstroke should be on a beep

Use this tool on the website, Old faithful is one of the paterns in the library.
Steve @Petty2004, set the metronome like this. See screenshot below. This will very, very likely give you, what you are looking for. Beat 1 will sound slightly different than the other three beats, so that you can easily identify it.
