Yeah, next time we do one we want to do a longer gig  We just need to get working on new material

I didnā€™t want to fill this set with too many covers since I wanted the focus to be our originals. But next time Iā€™m hoping to fill a full hour

That was a really enjoyable gig DyeV. I said somewhere else that youā€™re not my go to genre but the fact that you were playing original material coupled with your infectious enthusiasm made for a terrific set. Maybe youā€™ll turn me into a grunge fan yet!:grinning: Well done all of you.
My zoom connection was a bit flakey so I missed a few minutes here and there so Iā€™ll definitely be watching out for the recording when it appears.

Great concert :+1::slightly_smiling_face::guitar: good job everyone, you all rock !

Iā€™m curious, is that a background made with a video software or itā€™s something else like a green screen ? Iā€™m asking cause itā€™s really cool and I tried something similar with a software, but it did not work really well as the guitar was removed by the backgroundā€¦

Thank you! It was green screen. We were super happy with how it ended up looking!

As said yesterday already, huge respect to your group of five for performing your own songs to an international audience. Your original songs - I was surprised that you have created that many already. And just my style, I liked them all. Gives me motivation to start learning power chords finally
A small detail, whoever did the mixing, well done. Every instrument had itā€™s own distinctive sound.
Great tech support and moderation by Jeff also! :+1:

Congratulations to you and the other band members for a great show. Your performance was pretty tight: the songs were varied while remaining loyal to your style. Really liked ā€˜Push The Buttonā€™, ā€˜Dive Inā€™ and your cover of ā€˜Cannonballā€™. A big round of applause from me.

Apologies guys patchy internet and Florence at night made it impossible to join live, but I rewatchted the video on tubez and have been mighty impressed with the level of preparation! Not only musically, but choreography, costumes from the ladies, proper hosting from Jen - guys youā€™re growing so quickly as a band! Well done, hope to see you at one of UK festivals one day - promise Iā€™ll be in the first row! Especially enjoyed the song dedicated to granny, such a good vibe!
And ofc kudos to Jeff for hosting the show, youā€™re the man dude!

Thank you so much! And definitely learn power chords  As you can tell, Iā€™m a big fan of them

It was kind of a group effort  Dan did most of it, but Jeff sound checked us in advance to help us get the levels right before the show

Thank you Alan! It was definitely work, but so much fun!

Thank you so much!! Donā€™t tell the other songs, but my personal favorite is probably Push the Button too

Thank you so much Adi! Youā€™ll be the first one we invite if we end up coming your way

Jen, Dan and others @Jenndye429

I knew I was not going to be able to watch the gig live so I am glad you posted the video. I have watched your development over a few years starting with the two of you now a group and it has been a pleasure to see how you have come on leaps and bound

I should say initially thatā€™s not my sort of music, so I am not going to comment on that but have looked in detail at the performance side of things. I have had a little bit of experience personally at the guitar club concerts and know it is not easy for amateurs (I am not being derogatory) to get everybody in time and as important how the arrangement of each song goes, when to come in, when to be loud or quiet etc., it takes effort and practice. I must say that side of things was impressive. The backdrop looked great but next time you must get the keyboard player in shot.

I donā€™t know if you have done this yet, but the next stage has got to be playing in front of a live audience face to face, a completely different feel than Zoom. Have you got any plans for that?

Just to finish off, congratulations to you all that was an excellent professional job, can you pass that onto to the others.

Awesome! You guys remind me of a band I used to listen to quite a lot: X. Thatā€™s high praise!

@MAT1953 @jjw

Thank you both for watching and for your kind words! I will definitely pass them along to my fellow DyeVers

Thank you so much! We put a lot of effort and thought into both the music and the performance, so Iā€™m glad that came through

That is definitely what we are working towards! There are couple of local music festivals that we would like to play at, and provided we can get some more material written, I think we have a good shot at being able to do that. We also have been doing some recording at a local recording studio and the guy we are working with there has a lot of contacts/connections with live venues we could potentially play at- especially if we could hook ourselves up with some other local bands. Long story short, itā€™s in the works
