@amandaw57 Ah ok-so start with preset then twiddle until get the right sound then saveāgot it thanks. Hate using apps but I guess with these you`ll lose out on a lot of features if not. Hey ho
As I said if its the same you have 4 hard presents I tweaked all mine so I have the sounds I wanted.
I then saved over them now I donāt use the app unless I need to change the sound dramatically or want something else.
I only have a phone so its not that large and I am old so trying to adjust settings on the app for me is not ideal lol.
Enjoy
I donāt know if the Spark 2 is the same in this respect as the first one, but when I had my Spark 40 I found it really quite awkward/uninspiring to use without the app. IMO they lean heavily on it.
Thatās a stark contrast to, my experience of some other amps, particularly the Katana and the Yamaha THR10ii where I rarely used the apps.
Note that, with all these devices, to get the best/most from them, you really need the app. Thatās especially true of the Katana which is endlessly tweakable with Boss Tone Studio (BTS).
But for me, I found I used BTS or the Yamaha THR App only occasionally to build presets or to tweak settings and most of the time used the physical knobs on the amp to control it.
I tried doing the same on the Spark but, for some reason I canāt explain, I always found myself firing up the app. And, no, it wasnāt because I found the app an enjoyable experience!
YMMV
Cheers,
Keith
