A bell ringing sinmulator, now there’s a thing, when my dad was teaching me I used have to stand on a wooden beer crate, health and safety wasn’t a thing back then. Wish I was still fit enough, the church I used to ring at went from 5 bells to eight and has the first 2 bells made that have the Charles and Camila monica/crest.

It’s actually a “mini-ring” or, maybe, a “demonstrator” rather than a simulator. It’s a fully working mobile Belfry, and just a smaller version of what is at the top of church bell towers.

A simulator is actually something else which involves ringing a bell along to a computer which is ringing the other bells:

It’s a shame you can’t ring any more.

What a beautiful sky!

One day my camera and telescope will get together for a proper zoomed in picture instead of trying to free hand it. This wasn’t that day.

Apparently this is caused by a caterpillar (probably the Autumn Webworm moth).

My sister can out to visit my wife and I this weekend so we went for a drive in the mountains.
Came across a Mama Bear and her 2 cubs. It’s hard to get a good picture of three bears
they never stop moving.

After the cute pics and not quite so random, as I shared an early pic with the Posse but I’ve been struck by the dreaded trigger finger.

First attempt at taping was a bit meh but this is more supportive. Idea is to stop the finger locking out, which will help the tendon inflammation settle. Next practice should be interesting or :poop: !!

Sorry to hear that, Big Man. :mending_heart:
If you splint the finger straight, can you just use it for barres?
