Wow talk about a soulful, powerful performance. I have so little confidence in singing it’s amazing to watch and hear the energy you can deliver alongside such confident strumming!

Rene, I really enjoyed your rendition of this song. I was always a big fan of songs by America, because they were so singable and you have set the bar in your vocals. This song was made for your voice and I think your interpretation might be better than the original. I loved your strumming. You stayed tight in the strumming groove. Also liked your solo in the bridge. I will have to look at it later at half speed. Thanks for this great performance.
Rene, Loved your version of Lonely People. The strumming was great and the chord progressions and variations were interesting and fun to watch. The vocal performance was so spot on I thought I was listening the original. Great performance.
I also just finished listening to you performance of Ohio. Another great performance. Your strumming pattern is very precise and you have a lot of passion in your singing. It gives me a goal to set for myself in the future.
I thought at first that you had gotten permission to record in a local music store. It’s hard to believe that all those are your musical instruments. Have you had a chance to play all of them in the last year?

For recording, I started in 2019, as my daughter urged me to set up my Music Room for recording.
Here is my set-up:
2 mics; Shure SM-58 (guitar), and Ear Trumpet Labs “Edwina” (vocals)
INTO - Yamaha MG10FX Mixer (I am using room reverb #6)
INTO - UAD Volt 2/76 Audio Interface (love the built-in compressor and vintage mic preamp)
INTO - IMAC, I am using Quick Time Player recording a movie
