I just got my boss MK2 100. I have tried to plug it into the laptop to look at the boss studio as in the video, but for some reason it doesn’t seem to pick it up. I have tried multiple cables and multiple adaptors, but still no joy…
This might be best in a different thread. But which Operating System is on your laptop?
Have you downloaded and installed the drivers for it from the Boss website?

Just got the Katana 100 gen 3, and I am pleased with it so far. Did the driver download, then updated the studio software on the computer…not too bad but follow the on line boss instructions. The sounds are great without going to the studio to change the various settings. The basic panel works good, and I did download the Justin Kleen patch, and have it in the studio, and it sounds quite good. I look forward to Justin doing some more educational work on the 100 model…especially with a looper, since it comes with a real “effects loop” to plug in the back… thanks for the helpful intro.

Would have been nice to know in the original message that the give away was for a limited group. It was informative but I could have used the 45 minutes for more practice.

I was wondering the same. There doesn’t seem to have been any announcement of winners and I don’t see any other reference to the draw other than this videos discussion. Never received the email confirming entry too
