Are your fingers flying, Rob?
I find the faster I go the more my fingers fly, so I’ve started combining the major scale in 3rds with the minimum movement exercise. It means going much slower to start with but will hopefully be faster and more free flowing in the long run.

I’m doing my best to control that its certainly improving, always been an issue esp with my little finger and I know I need to keep them close to the strings!

No updates today working on the same scale stuff and some e blues fun stuff but loving how my maton is aging!

OK. Calling that done for position 1 and 2 for now…

Flying fingers, Rob! And it’s causing you to throw the guitar about.
I think part of the problem is the stretch with the G Major scale. Try moving it up to the 8th fret (C Major), where it will be easier to control, then slowly work your way back down the neck.

Yeah this is a worst case which is why i’m using the acoustic too haha and on video which is always worse too…

So I bought a new ‘amp’

Neural DSP Tone king Imperial mkII

Trialed it first and man does it hit the spot for blues!

Playing wise getting my head around the CAGED system right now plus linking chords to their correct scales for fills , lot of improv
