Too many ways to play songs

“It’s only right that you should play the way you feel it.” –Stevie Nicks Scroll through the member recordings and most of the time players are putting their own spin on their tracks. Lessons and original recordings are just suggestions. Seems odd to view multiple/new/different approaches to a song as confusing or a rabbit hole. All of these things go into your personal musical blender on your way to finding your own voice on the instrument.
