I eventually got round to recording one of the songs I’d listed above. You can hear it here Summer of 69 - end of grade 2
Although I’d said I can do all the grade 2 techniques in it:
- the palm muting was almost non existent (not sure why - maybe singing at the same time)
- the power chords in the bridge weren’t great - maybe because I stopped strumming on some of the chord changes.
Other than that I was pretty happy with it.
