Welcome back. Getting over injuries is always a bit awkward, but you’ll get there.

Welcome back! A lot of what you learned will return in no time. Congratulations!! Glad you are ready to play again.

Never any harm in going back to ground zero. I recall restarting the old Beginners Course at least 3 times due to plateaus I never breached or feeling I hit a dead-end.
So makes more sense post injury.

Just enjoy the ride and you’ll soon catch up.

injuries that force you out of activities you enjoy suck.

I had an illness that forced me to stop playing guitar for long enough that it just became habit not to play guitar. Kudos to you for picking it back up again.

Welcome to the forum. I have had minor injuries that have set me back and several times I thought about just going back to the beginning. I’m sure you will very quickly pick it up again since you previously got quite far.

Good luck and don’t hesitate to post any questions on the forum as the community can be very helpful.

Hello dziubekx,

good to have you back. I guess it will get faster than you expect. If you “were” intermediate… I think it is like learning to ride a bike. You will be good.

Looking forward to you share of playing.

Injuries and surgeries blow for sure. But you can do it. Just think how much knowledge you will have the second time you are rolling through grade 3. Think of it as a good way to solidify you foundations.
