Thanks for the advice József. I actually started a thread about my issue here last week. So in total it’s been about three or four weeks since I restrung my guitar. So yeah, I guess the neck would have bed back in by now. The search goes on!
All the grit and grime on the strings got shaken off in the process. You can actually boil them in a saucepan of water if you want to do a proper job of it.
