Looks like is been a great year Stuart, with some solid goals being achieved.
Good luck with Grade 4. You’re in for some fun times ahead.
Cheers, Shane

Thanks to all the read & replied.
It certainly isn’t. Slow but sure. Mind you at this rate I’ll be toes up before being any good.
Not wrong there. If I’m still here in a year I’ll probably give the shortened version next time.
Correct. Always been the issue.
Sounds like a plan if someone has one!
Have been thinking about that but not sure how that would work technically. I play into headphones and not out of an amp.
We did indeed and many thanks for that.
Recording myself has never been a priority as (still) don’t see the benefit to me. As I have said on a number of occasions I know what my problems are. Saying that I do occasionally record myself and listen back.
Thanks and hope so!

Your post dropped when I was on holiday, I am back so now had time to read it, yes the whole thing. Your progress through Justin’s Grades has essentially matched mine so I was interested in your approach of one module a month, not really how I did it jumping around to those lessons I needed or was interested in.
The range in lessons is wide and certainly quite a lot not all relevant to each person such as Guitar Tone, if you don’t have an electric guitar. Just to pick up on combining technique and songs, I have picked on songs to learn that use a technique, even if not particularly songs I would like and found that useful way forward. To sing or not sing, big topic, I must say when I started out I thought I would not sing but was persuaded otherwise by certain prominent members of the community, I ended up taking singing lessons, but appreciate it is not for everyone. Transcribing, less said about that the better. Justin has indicated up and coming extended lessons on fingerstyle, maybe that will interest you as you seem to have dipped your toe in that technique.
Onward to another twelve months and will be interested to see the direction you have gone.
Michael
I have indeed and am looking forward to the new lessons. Kind of surprised there is nothing in Grade 4.
Stuart @Stuartw
Yes I am looking forward to it as well. There is just the odd lesson and a repeat of Folk Fingerstyle in Grade 5.
