Here comes Jasmine! You breaking the ice with AVOYP with such a good performance IS that ray of sun into my day filling my heart with warmth and joy dear Jasmine!
The playing was just so good and the smile of satisfaction on your face and your being into the Music are just the proof of it!

I was hoping someone with a good idea would be interested to open a new topic before, say around october-november so that we could start practicing now - I guess many wouldn’t start practicing a Christmas song before November…
…but you’re all being very shy 
It’s not difficult, you message the Mods, open a topic in Just Chatting to check if people would be interested in partecipating and there you go, Deborah has set a good example to follow on how to manage it!
I also want to add my “Thank You!” to anyone who partecipated and to those who checked the recordings and dropped a or a comment

and you blast onto the scene in full blossom, with not only with a fine finger-licking, finger-picking classic, but all into the groove as well, with body-rockin’, smiles, and even eyerolling!
You’re a natural performer!

All that tells me, is that you sing as well!
I try never to persuade people to do things they don’t want to, but encouragement is fair game.

Time passed too quickly!
In spring I envisioned to learn one of two songs I remembered (and not on the list), but I don’t know where the time went. Maybe there’ll be another challenge next year…

This is high praise coming from you being such a creative and natural performer!
Although I’m not sure it’s accurate 
I was trying not to rock/move too much, the eyerolls were when I made mistakes, and it was hard enough to make my fingers work once I pressed the record, let alone keep my voice even 
At first I felt like, 'wait… what? do this again!? but rumour has it that it gets easier after the first time… and I don’t want to be a wallflower

You looked WAAAAY more relaxed than I’m sure you were & your playing was well done! Intricate picking hand sequences along with lots of chord changes… you don’t do things by halves, do you?
