I use guitar pro for writing my tab, then just took a screenshot of it. I highly recommend that software, once you get the hang of it, its quicker than writing by hand, and it has tons of useful features. I actually use it more than I thought I would.
I didn’t attend this, but there was a live class on using GP last year. That should give you a good idea of what it is and how it works.
