@Jozsef
Thanks for this Jozsef. I have a live recording of his on my iPod and it gets played frequently, along with Rory Gallagher.

To keep on immersing myself in the Blues as much as possible, I set my old iPOD Classic, that sits in the car, to play by Genre and selected the Blues. Been listening to some great stuff from right across the spectrum from 1930 to late 90s.

Dropped on this Fleetwood Mac album that I have not heard in a good few years. Its a double disc album from the 1967-1969 - Fleetwood Mac The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions - 6 Disc Set and was buried deep in my digital collection until now.

Some great covers and tracks that never got aired back in the day. Well worth a listen for anyone wanting to get into the Blues. Should add its not just Fleetwood Mac but a whole bunch of guys jamming.

Crack a beer n chill :sunglasses:

After listening to my brother’s latest vlog on gratefulness.

What a fabulous band, worthy of the ‘under-rated’ epithet I think

I saw The Rolling Stones live in Vienna last night, and one of the tracks in the playlist before the actual show began was Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick. It was a nice surprise.

I believe that the Blockheeds guitarist now plays with Nick Masons Saucerfull of Secrets band. And very good he is.

You can’t beat standing on the pier in winter looking across the mighty Humber. I was too young to go on the jazz cruises but this takes me back to many drunken nights as a young man

My brother was confident I’d find little enjoyment in this and expressed some surprise at finding it engaging himself. He was right, surprisingly engaging, despite not being what I would consider my cuppa java

Beware, bad language used periodically throughout

Edit:
So glad that I can finally (Again) post a video in this way that there are 2 right away ?? :see_no_evil:

solved it :sunglasses:

Listening to Gabriella Quevedo, a very talented young lady.

Blame Adi for this one. I think it was @jkahn who recently said he’d not have taken me for a Staind fan. Guess this is one reason why I am.

Been discussing a song with Adi offline and I found an Aaron Lewis cover of it, that took me full circle to an JGC Open Mic performance I did a while back and a couple of songs from Break The Cycle. This is elongated version of Outside, where Aaron describes how he made it up on the spot, after Fred Durst invited him up to play and said I’ll sing “that” chorus with you. At that stage Aaron ONLY had the chorus and nowt else.
Improvising at the extreme !!

Contains Strong Language - Its Aaron !!

And that original performance.

Shoot still love playing this song and Its Been A While !!

Some one recently said “Them breaks” but sometimes those breaks happen to the good folks, not just the idiots !

I’d been avoiding this thread for fear of the time it takes to scroll 500-odd posts . Now you’ve atted me :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

I was in uni when I was into Staind. A bit angsty at the time. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Great song.

Yesterday I attended an outdoor concert by this band in a park and it was pretty good

I sure enjoy looking thru these…

took the day off work, working on thermal problems on my guitar amp design, and listening to…
