What are you currently listening to 2026?

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement… I often find myself feeling ā€œdissatisfiedā€ with what would be an awesome solo if it only ā€œfitā€ the song it was played over…

I think the Prince’s skill at guitar was amazing but that the solo often didn’t fit & that’s why I’m not a bigger Prince fan!

Everybody is on a Metallica binge it seems. Wasn’t so much into that genre when they first came out. Now that I know a bit more about music and have become more attuned to listening to the guitar parts every song they do is incredible.

I mean, this is insane:

That is epic, I hadn’t seen that before. I remember when Tina went viral on youtube with good reason, she’s brilliant.

I’m surprised you haven’t seen that clip before here in the Community! After seeing it here I had to watch the movie… it was ok but the music was pretty cool!!! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Do you guys think she has some sort of talent or it’s pure practice?

5% talent and 95% practice. She probably started at a young age. Most great musicians start early, it’s a bit easier to learn when the mind is young.

Warren and friends

Not played this for a while and yes I’ve posted it before but it appeared in my feed tonight. Beautiful song but capo on 9 ? Give me a break . . . and small fingers

Must take it for a spin again. Great song is all :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

This band popped in one of my Blues Rock Spotify playlist mixes a while back and all the tracks have been good listens. And due to the world of mysteriously linked algorithms, Youtube spat this at me this evening !!

Having now seen the band in the ā€œfleshā€ I was surprised to find they are actually from Derby in the UK ! Whodda thunk !!

Poe n Mule. What’s not to like and a classic to boot … if you’re a certain age of course !!

Some more TWR aka men with hats. Guess that’s my kinda band

David Attenborough’s 100th birthday today reminded me of this song. Always liked the guitar part in this.

The body language between Stevie and Lindsey from 4:10 is extraordinary. That must’ve been such a complicated relationship.

The album was called Rumors for a reason. Relationship drama was sort of a theme with Fleetwood Mac.

Now I’m excited for the album, this song is simply a blast!
Crazy how the whole band except for Simon is or nearing 80. Their skills on the instruments are something else and I love how great Ian’s singing sounds.

Beetoveen is really tight, he has a cool darkness. Valintines Lasitsa is a amazing piano player also and it sounds like Tina got the same vib but with guitar. Those are some hard core skillz to play moonlite sinoita, Imo.

Yeah for sure I’ve told you about their new releases a while ago but you said it’s not coming. Well it’s here.
Have you heard about the Black key tribute? It’s 3 hours on a Saturday. Idk maybe I’ll post about all the stuff we’ve been talking about here for everyone to see. Don’t worry I’ll be sure to tag you in it @metramaks! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
