What are you currently listening to 2026?

With a song like that, I realize how much sadness/grief and powerlessness I carry with me…

I could really feel the power, determination and anguish in all of the vocalists during my listen. So much so that I really needed to look up the translation just to see.

Yep, they are right don’t do it. Keep them close. :raising_hands:t2::heart:

Jason, I think the bands in your post are cool, too!

I’ve actually seen Funkadelic (George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic) live with that guitarist from 4 Non Blondes (Shaunna Hall).
And I’ve got NOFX’s “Champs-Élysées” on my Spotify playlist.

Thank you.

I bet that was a rad show.

I’m not a great fan of the song or the original artists but this cover band do some brilliant covers.

I am watching the Funky Monks

35 years if this release. Between me and my friends olaying this at paties and when people came over to our house at gatherings we completely streched out this vhs tapes tracking so by 1994 i dont think you could bairly get any good video out of it. I was sort of tripping when i found a good copy on line.

Hold on to you hats if you watch this. Its a wild one. The Red Hot Chili Peppers about the recording of Blood Suger Sex Magic.

Listening to a lot of blues lately, especially Eric Clapton, in preparation for the upcoming Blues Immersion course. I’m also relearning Clapton’s Sweet Home Chicago.

Came across this live performance of Have You Ever Loved a Woman from the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2004, and it pretty much embodies why I love the Blues. Everyone in the band is playing with so much passion and seems completely immersed in the Blues (see what I did there?).

Amazing performance, and it really got my Blues juices flowing!

Listening to a cool Frusciante song “Going Inside” that I have been working on. Its been a big favorite of mine for so long I can even say. But his music has gotten me through good and bad times.

Right now just doing the acoustic version, he only played it once or twice live luckly it was recorded. I really do love the electric also which he did a very rare video for.

Elegantly and beautifully played, James. Reminiscent of Michael Hedges in style, very nice.

This is a great look at Neil Peart, I know its about drummers, but I think the dedication he showed to his craft, and the enthusiasm of the drummers involved in this is amazing https://youtu.be/WPAJytx3juY?is=HQPITRcWijrWr2zb
