What is up with Fender? No left-handed Telecasters available!

This is probably a problem with my search skills, but what is up with Fender?
At the moment i’m having a bit of a gas attack, and am looking for lefty fender tele.
Preferably a sunburst finish with a palisander / roasted maple fret board. (we can talk about electronics later).

It seems to me that there aren’t any around? My favorite lefty shop hasn’t got any in stock, Thomann (second favorite shop) has one and on the second hand market, there aren’t any?
(how’s that possible?)
Even Fender.be says they’re sold out.
I am talking about the affordable ones, not the custom shop pieces that’ll set you back some thousands of euro’s.
Could it have something to do with the US and the way things are going there these days?

Edit: Fender.Be does have lh tele’s on sale, so i was a bit fast there, thinking there aren’t any around. But that’s buying blind (again) which i’m not doing ever again.

Not sure about Fender but most of us lefty`s have to buy blind. I was after a nice acoustic but within 200 miles from me (N.Scotland) I had a choice of four. Thank heavens for good returns.

Andertons have got 2 leftie teles in stock - one white one with rosewood board, one sunburst with maple board.
Both are player 2 series.

…didn’t notice the bit about not buying blind.

Leftyguitars in Belgium are showing a polar white and a yellow, one with rosewood one with maple in stock (player series)

@AndyTake2 aha, then i need to get over there to have a “look and feel”.

But still, it seems a far cry from the days that around here, KeyMusic, for instance, was up and running. They used to have a section dedicated to tele’s, strat’s and other manufacturers. They used to have a store that was housed in an old cinema, so space enough.
But then again, they went bust a few years ago…

Andertons is a lovely store, but since brexit happened, it’s not ideal to order stuff from the uk anymore.

@tommion i bought a guitar blind twice. (A yamaha and a Hohner). First one was really ok, since that was my first electric ever, second was ok-ish, but enough experience for me to never do that again.
