I played guitar for a few years in my mid twenties, with 9 months of lessons. Now 30 years later I found inspiration to play again. Things are definitely easier these days with Youtube and Internet lessons. Working from home also helps - so I can pick up the guitar while my software compiles.
So early 2024 while recovering from covid I decided to watch all JustinGuitar lessons from the very first lesson. Even though I consider myself to be an intermediate player I have learnt so much. Every lesson has been awesome! This is what I was looking for when I had lessons in my twenties - a focus on rhythm playing to start with - and doing that well with solid timing.
I have now started recording and composing some originals. It would be nice to sing as well for those campfire situations. For now I have a niece to help with that at times - she is just amazing.
Looking forward to the blues lessons soon and will be subscribing to the theory lessons too.
