I’m a fully trained professional musician, specialising in violin of all kinds (Baroque, classical, 5-string electric, etc). I also play bass viola da gamba, Irish whistle and all keyboards. My current bands are The Button Band (multi-instrumental acoustic rock covers) and The Blarney Boys (Irish), though in the past I’ve also had a string quartet, and have played for operas, shows, etc. I sing with a choir that specialises in Renaissance polyphony. When not performing, I teach violin, viola and piano, and have done so for a number of years. The one instrument I can’t play properly (yet!) is guitar, hence my presence here.
