Hi, I’m a retired, 71 year old beginner living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I have a private teacher here, but have used Justin’s video lessons for a long time and learned a lot from him. I have also logged in to the Vintage Club occasionally.

I manage my expectations about what I can accomplish as a guitar player; I just enjoy playing and learning about the guitar and music in general.

I know and can play many chords including barre chords, but transitioning from open chords to barre chords is one of my biggest challenges. Holding my pick in position while strumming is also an issue for me.
