I’m an English teacher living in Poland. I’ve got two lovely girls and musically enjoy most things, but especially rock of all sorts. I’ve got a few guitars, despite being a beginner. I bought a Yamaha Pacifica after a lot of research. I think it’s amazing for the price, but hadn’t realised how much neck profiles can differ. It’s a bit narrow for me. I bought a Yamaha acoustic as well and just love playing both guitars so much. My uncle gave me a lovely Alvira classical guitar as a gift. I keep it in the teacher’s room at work to have something there to practice on and potentially play for my kids. I also recently won a guitar raffle over at Crimson Guitars. It’s a PRS SE Silver Sky. That’s becoming the guitar I grab most often. My dream guitar for the future is a PRS Core of any kind. I haven’t played a McCarty and want to, but I’m fairly stuck on the idea of Paul’s Guitar. I have a pretty cool Polish made combo amp, a 50W Laboga. That was also a gift from my uncle. He’s amazing. I never would have got this amp so soon on my learning journey. I’ve got no pedals yet, though I playing around with an iRig and Amplitute, which came with it. I don’t love it cause I rather just play through the amp. I really like the natural sounds of the instruments. I had the Pacifica without an amp for a year and a half before I got the acoustic, and another six months later the amp. I may be the only person in the world who enjoys playing an electric unplugged.
