I’m a guy who’s “deep into middle age”. My day job is as a self-employed CFP® and Financial Planner. When I’m not working, I’m a runner/fitness geek, craft beer lover, 2-channel audio enthusiast, and enthusiastic beginner guitar/piano player.

Over the years I’ve started/stopped with my goal of being able to play guitar and piano a few times, mostly due to life getting in the way and not finding a structured teaching method that I could connect with.

Now, finally, I have the time to dedicate to consistent practice so I’m diving in with both feet. My goal is to be able to read music and play songs from artists in the classic rock, blues and jazz genres, primarily on guitar but also be comfortable on the piano.
