Not that anyone will read this but… I have been playing guitar for 35 years. Acoustic and electric. I have seen Justin on youtube for more years than either of us care to remember. I decided that I needed to go back to basics so I can try to understand music better. I am looking for a more structured approach rather than just “noodling” and reading tab or copying people off youtube.
.My goal is to be a competent lead guitarist. What does that mean? That I can sound good (melodic) understand what I’m playing and know why I have chosen it. Learn what makes a good melody rather than just play notes from a scale with some bends and flick-offs.
