Live in the USA near Ann Arbor Michigan. I started playing guitar as a kid at about 13. Played in some garage bands in the 1970s. Stopped playing for years because demanding job, raising kids etc. took priority. Started playing again a little as time allowed a few years ago. I just retired ( Feb. ‘22) and am finally able to devote the time I need to finally make progress with my playing.

Currently taking my time going thru the beginner lessons to make sure I have a good foundation of skills. Taking my time trying to learn some songs I actually feel comfortable playing for people at each level. I hope this helps me to stay focused on path forward vs jumping around learning random cool things that I can’t really use in a practical way.

My tastes in music are mostly 1960’s - ‘70s rock & roll/ blues.
