I’m as old as my tongue and a wee bit older than my teeth. Singled out as tone deaf as a child after failing miserably to learn piano and violin, I proved the buggers wrong three years ago when my partner bought me a ukulele (it was kind of a guilt offering because he was buying himself a new guitar). I then discovered that I could play the top 4 strings on an ancient nylon string guitar using ukulele chord shapes, at which point my other half thought it prudent to give me his unused steel string acoustic. I popped some nice soft silk and steel strings on, and here I am. Happily clarting with a guitar! I’d never have guessed this would happen
