I have had numerous incarnations in my six decades on Earth: Canadian, Non-Resident Alien, Briton, journalist, paper conservator, technical writer, mower of lawns, army reservist, and accomplice of dogs. I think of myself as a professional amateur who knows a little about a lot of things, including guitar. After a couple of attempts at self-teaching in the ‘90s I gave up. With a little help from Justin I think I can do better this time.
