When I turned 40, I gradually learnt not to take things for granted anymore: my health, my happiness, and my personal growth. It became more evident to me that I wanted to spend the second best part of my life seeking the things I had given up to. I lost 40 pounds (and still losing), I started living in the moment, and I picked up guitar, a pleasure I had renounced to all my life because what clearly became excuses to me: not enough time, not enough skills, too old, bla bla bla. The moment I touched my guitar, I knew she was for me. So, here I am, eager to learn and excited for what’s to come. It is true that life starts at 40, before that, we’re just in training.
