I’ve been noodling on the guitar for over 35 years - but I never undertook a serious (or structured) practice routine. It puts me in an interesting place, vis a vis JustinGuitar - I’m not a beginner, I can play bar chords and scales and use alternate picking without even thinking - but I have zero experience with rhythm or strumming patterns and I’ve never played to a metronome. I’m really enjoying my deep dive into some real practice!
