Hello! I’m Vinnie. That’s my nickname. My given name is Lee. Im 58, living in Atlanta, GA. I’m a writer. I spent 25 years teaching college English as an adjunct in every time zone in the continental U.S. I’ve just finished a 200,000 word memoir and will find an agent next year.

Musically, I took piano lessons for about 16 years and rarely practiced. But I loved playing. I had an albatross guitar from a relationship and couldn’t get into it after the divorce. It was hers. So during pandemic (spring or summer2020) I bought my own starter Yamaha and I love it! I play every day. After 15 months, I bought a Gretsch electric guitar.

I don’t think I learn very quickly, and it takes me a while to get things technically. But I enjoy learning music and about music so much they I can’t ever see bring without a guitar for the rest of my life.

i just may be JustinGuitar’s biggest fan! His teaching philosophy and ways of tackling subjects is very similar to how I teach writing. Thanks so much for having this amazing site.
