Lifelong musician, beginning guitarist!

I started out as a classical clarinetist, and my focus later shifted to singing, teaching, and writing. I actually came across Justin’s online guitar method when I decided to build my own online singing course and was looking for inspiration. It was by far the most engaging and comprehensive music course I had seen for any instrument, but I didn’t imagine that I would eventually end up benefiting from it myself!

Two years ago I was diagnosed with colon cancer, and the treatment made it impossible for me to sing for quite a while. So I decided to take up guitar so I could keep learning and making music. Now that I am cancer free and mostly healed, I am looking forward to learning how to both sing and play the blues!
