I have been playing guitar of and on for a while, but haven’t really had any formal or structured training…just picked up a bit in college, stopped playing for many years and picking it up again as my kids are grown. Playing is like a mediation for me, but I am challenging myself to learn more about music in general and theory, plus keep learning new songs. It is kind of fun to hear a song I like and break it down and try to learn to play it a bit. Singing is another challenge, I have nevcer been much of a singer, but I want to get to be at least OK.
I have been following JustinGuitar for a while and am now ready to jump in a bit more!
