G’Day everyone,

My name is Ron and I am an older Aussie who is now retired and looking to document my journey getting back to the music of my youth.

I bought myself a new Maton Messiah (the one I use in most videos) about 3 years ago, and I thought I better start learning how to play it a bit better. In that process I discovered Justin Guitar. What a resource and what a great teacher.

I am a folk, soft rock country sort of guy and so I have been learning lots of songs from my younger years. My YouTube channel presents my efforts in the form of my Acoustic Covers, thus the name Ron and His Guitar Covers.

I will from time to time do a “ How I Got There” video to hopefully encourage others to give this a try.

Finally, you are never too old to follow a dream, so I am now officially Refired NOT Retired.
