Hello, I am Sean. I my twenties my father gave me his old Yamaha acoustic guitar. I I never really attempted to learn, messed around with a few riffs of songs I liked but quickly became bored because the guitar just did not sound good. Of course I did not have a tuner or a pick and had no idea what notes the strings represented. Fast forward I found my self in the middle of the COVID pandemic with nothing to do. Now in my late 40’s I lulled the battered old guitar out and began researching how to play on YouTube. I liked the look of the fancy electric guitars I was seeing and headed out to Guitar Center where I picked up a Gretsch Electrometric and a small Fender mustang amp. During my YouTube browsing I found Justin Guitar and signed up for the App.

I have not been able to go a single day without picking up a guitar since then. I traded my Gretsch for a Fender Strat and then got a Tele then a another guitar and another etc. I now find myself with about a dozen guitars so as you can imagine it has gotten out of hand.
Anyway enough rambling, I need to go practice. I look forward to interacting with the community and learning more.
