Seems like a common story, but I started my guitar journey in my 20’s, learned a few songs, never took lessons, did not feel like I was getting anywhere and paused the process for about 20 years. I played occasionally, the same 4 songs over again with no progress. Along comes education wife, kids, career, bills… About age 42 I decided I needed some artistic outlet, just a means of winding down and relaxing (there has to me more to life than social media right?). I thought about drawing, woodworking or other hobbies and was reminded that I had started an artistic outlet in my 20s.

Picking back up after 20 years, I searched the internet moving through one off course and top 10 tips and tricks etc. and found on a reddit thread a link to Justin’s course that said something like “This guy has probably taught half the internet how to play guitar”. I figured if it works for half the internet Ill give that a shot. Started on 101, how to tune your guitar or something along those lines and just kept going. That was about a year ago (at the time of writing this).

I definately accomplished the goal of finding a creative outlet and so thankful to Justin and the whole team for all the amazing content. I have learned so much from the material and using that to help my kids learning music and some of their friends at the same time.
