My name is Tennes Rosengren. I live in the United States in Sun City, Arizona. A retirement community, a large one. I am 87 years old. I started Justin’s lessons in January or February of 2024, that was about 20 months ago. I am at the end of the second beginning course. My goals may be a little different than many of you that are taking Justin’s courses. I want to keep my brain from atrophying, which is a losing battle. However, the lessons have been great. It takes me a little longer for some things but that’s okay. At my age time is passing very fast but I am managing to get in an hour or two a day. I am also taking the theory course to keep my brain as active as possible. That is more of a stretch, but I am plugging along. I have noticed that my fingers a thinning and it makes it a little harder to do bar chords but, I am finding ways. There is so much to learn that I have to remind myself to stay in the present and enjoy what I am doing at the time.
