I think that the chord diagrams on this are wrong, the first 3 are ok but the following 5 to me are wrong - unless they are further up the neck and not indicated to be.

Have you checked the place (string/fret) of the root notes? They will help you find them on the neck. However, these are all movable shapes as they have no open strings in them.

OK, I see I think - so you make the root note or (1) the chord name on the fretboard then?
(1) in the diagrams refers to the 1st finger. “R” refers to the root note.
If you check the three E7 diagrams, you will see that the root note in the first one is at the 2nd fret on the D string; in the second one it’s at the 5th fret on the B string; and in the third one it’s at the 9th fret on the G string.
Also, these shapes can be moved along the fretboard. The 1st E7 becomes the open D7 chord. If you move the second one up 3 frets, it becomes a G7. And so on.
