I first read this in the 60s as a Hippy living in a commune in Wales. (closest we could get to San francisco and Hell of a lot colder).
It takes a couple of minutes to read and for me, as served me well over the last 50ish decades, putting things into perspective when things go a little wonkey in life.

This is a free course that uses research in psychology to help personal wellbeing. it just involves doing little things each day and is well worth a small amount of focused effort. A bit like learning Neil Young songs really!
I went through this course and it was pretty good.
Play guitar about 4 minutes daily of each waking hour and you’ll put in an hour a day. No set schedule and no pressure, except don’t put things off over your day. Just, make it part of your day. As time passes, you will be amazed at your progress and growing love for guitar playing and ability (and Justin - our relentless spirit and confidant). -R

BJJ is a lot like learning Guitar IMHO (I did combat sports for a long time until an unrelated Injury stopped me).
You’re never too old to start and there is no substitute for time on the mat in the same way there is no substitute for for time under the strings.
There is also a parallel between BJJ drills and guitar exercises vs rolling and playing.
My only issue with cold dips (I go into the sea most mornings) is that after a dip/swim and a cold shower my fingers don’t like my guitar and the morning is when I’ve got my scheduled practise time in
