2nd post on here.. another original song!

Hi again you wonderful people!

Here’s my 2nd post and another original song
Again played in some weird C# open tuning
(C#, G#, C#, F, G#, C#)

Its a little low for my vocal range overall…except for the big high note during the bridge which I cannot hit if i capo up a fret or 2 to D or Eb

This one is called “Front Door”

Thankyou!

Another great song Ben, love it. You’re clearly a talented songwriter and accomplished guitarist, it would be great to see to get more involved with the community - I’m sure there’s a lot of advice and encouragement you can offer others

I really like this @BenHorrocks - great singing, good melody, plenty emotion. It’s also great for me to use as an exemplar for my own singing and songwriting. I’ve also been thinking that i need to start playing about with open tunings, and this has given me a huge nudge.

So good Ben. In so many ways. I hope you are able to show your music in other spaces.

Thankyou so much man… Im kinda “Vaguely” building up my bottle to go do a local open mic night… I have one new song which i wrote today that im suoer happy with but its a difficult vocal with lots of highs and falsettos so it needs polishing up a bit… Im also working on a cover of “Running up that hill” by Kate bush… because that song gets stuck in my head so badly!
