$40,000 amp! 😲

White gold coated knobs with sapphires? That’s bling rather than an amp for sound’s sake.

I reckon there’s about $1,000 of components in that, including all the gold knobs and bling.

Although it’s not just hand-wired; it’s “meticulously hand-wired”

And, I agree, it’s pretty hideous.

Cheers,

Keith

The saddest thing is that I’m sure there will be no shortage of people wanting to buy one. I mean, if you can convince people to pay large sums for NFTs of a cartoon ape… :man_shrugging:

It looks a little like a ghetto blaster I had in the 80’s.

Oh My!
While I love amps.
I’ve got house repairs that I could do if I had that kinda bread (which I don’t).

pass…

Besides, ‘to me’, it’s so far past cool that it ain’t cool anymore.
Let alone that red ain’t my favorite color. ymmv

Nothing more needs to be said, really.

Just ordered one from Thomann ! :+1:

Only one! I would have thought you would want another in a different colour way for special occasions!

I’d say the only sapphire knob would be the one buying it.

Just playing devil’s advocate I think…But I know many works of art that are more way more expensive and that I don’t like and that have no use other than looking at…or imagine what kind of extravagant things are being bought… gaudy watches etc etc…then better have a special looking and good sounding amplifier next to me…The more I think about it, the more beautiful it becomes…I’m waiting for a good discount
