The 1.5 tone bend on the fifth lick is the first time I really questioned whether stainless steel frets might be the go. On the other hand, I’m worried that by practicing and getting used to SS frets I would always feel awkward on the vast majority of guitars which still have nickel frets. No doubt practicing lots with both SS and nickel is an effective solution to that problem, but for those with limited practice time and even more limited talent, is it a mistake to learn all this on SS frets?

I bought this blues course when it was for sale and went through all the lessons and learned a ton. Now I realize this is more ‘advanced’ (is it grade 6? Grade 4? it appears in both) material but nobody told me when I got it and it didn’t stop me from having a lot of fun. (I am around grade 3-ish)
