A couple of short clips from my gig

Hi ya all,

Well the gig went really great. Excellent feedback from the audience and they want me back. Woohoo.

Here a a couple of snippets from the gig. Father and Son and the crowd getting into the Hey Jude Na Na Na’s. I hope to post a new cover soon.

Cheers

Ron

Congrats on a successful gig, Ron. I can’t say I am surprised that they want you back. I’d certainly come back to hear you some more, even if you choose to play Hey Jude

BTW, I’ve moved the post into the Playing Live Sub-category.

As I’ve said before, I love this song and your rendition of it is fantastic! Doubly so since your post reads “Father and Sin” - I was listening for the altered lyrics.

Great stuff, you certainly look relaxed and like you are enjoying yourself. What key did you do Hey Jude in?

Huge congrats Ron. The quality sounded as good as you “studio” recordings and you certainly gave Hey Jude some wellie. Not surprised you’ve been invited back. Top stuff.

Cheers Eddie. Really appreciate that. It went really well and I am looking forward to playing there again.

Thank you so much.

Thanks Tony. I think if my capo is on the third fret and I am playing in G it would be A#/Bb. Weird key I know but it is where I need to be for my voice.
Start again. That was for Father and Son sorry…Hey Jude was in D.

Cheers Toby, I really appreciate that. It was fun.

Thanks. I’d be interested in the chords / shapes you use if you are willing to share. I’ve spent some time on hey jude in the past only to find it didn’t suit my voice and it wasn’t able to be fixed with a capo.

That looked fun! Thanks for inviting me!

 you are welcome to work on that, Ron. There are many Beatles songs I enjoy, but suspect the ship has long sailed on Hey Jude (and many of their classics from the later years)

Tony I gave you the wrong info. I played Hey Jude in D no capo. capo 3 in Playing G was for Father and Son.
