Hi,
I’m afraid I need some clarification with regard to the rules on posting user recordings.
Q1. I posted my first audio recording after re-introducing myself in a wrong subsection. That was corrected by @Richard_close2u and transferred to the Originals Not Covers subsection, where it actually belongs. Now, my question is, if I’d like to post an audio of me playing a cover (obviously in the AVOYP subsection), do I have to wait till the next calendar month?
Q2. According to the rules, I may add more recordings to my first topic. How can I change the title of the topic to signal there are more samples to listen to?. As I’ve returned after a prolonged hiatus, I’d very much like to present more of what I have learned during the break.
I’d be very grateful for any help.
Regards
Tomasz
Hi Tomasz,
Good that you asked, but don’t be too afraid of the rules , if you often do something “wrong” and the moderators keep moving your things again and again, they will really explain it calmly in a personal email if necessary
After your origineel and if you now will post a cover then you open a NEW topic right now …or tomorrow
And you can post all the covers there in that topic this calendar month of September, and if you want to change the topic then ask /tag) the moderators (if I’m right, Richard and David do that mostly and will be happy to adjust these for you just say what needs to be written there )
Greetings,Rogier
Hi Tomasz.
Thank you for asking.
The one-permonth posting guidance is for each sub-section of the overall Community Recordings parent section.
You can have one post in originals, one post in AVOYP etc.
No worries.
Each post can contain multiple recordings.
If you know in advance what you will post as it is a catch - up / summary then try to organise your post and place them in an ordered manner.
Cheers
Richard
Thanks so much! I knew I could count on your help :).
Oh, and @Richard_close2u I have one more request and would be grateful if you could kindly grant it. Please change the title of my first post containing an original recording to “My first original recording (and more)”. This would be meaningful enough to allow me to add some more audio samples. It’s nothing urgent, please take your time; I do appreciate the amount of work you do for the community…
